Academic Excellence
Cardinal Newman offers more than 20 Advanced Placement, Honors, and Accelerated courses, complemented by a variety of electives in the Arts. Our smaller class sizes, one-on-one attention from teachers, and weekly academic advisories provide a supportive environment where students strengthen their critical thinking and study skills.  The challenging coursework and robust extracurricular opportunities mean you’ll be fully prepared to attend the most competitive colleges and universities. Historically, Newman graduates maintain a strong GPA throughout their college career.

Developing Leaders
At Cardinal Newman, we know that being a leader is more than just being the strongest voice or having a place in the spotlight, it is grounded in integrity, emotional intelligence, critical thinking skills, and the desire to create positive change.

We want every student to know how to lead, and to understand the responsibility of leadership and the value of supporting others. Christian Service Learning, Campus Ministry, Associated Student Body (ASB), and many other programs provide every student with the opportunity to learn and grow their leadership skills.

College Counseling and Guidance
Our college counseling department has the resources to provide each student with a personalized approach to the college application and selection process. From the start, our counselors work with students to identify and develop goals.

As upperclassmen, counselors help students research colleges, complete and submit college applications, and research scholarship opportunities. Your student’s counselor will support you and your student every step of the way.  Learn more.
